January 29, 2020: Piasa, IL 62079 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) and the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats (Mt. Olive, IL), saw Southwestern's basketball squad overcome Mt. Olive by a tally of 44-33.
With the victory, Southwestern improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Piasa Birds host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a challenge on Friday, January 31. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Staunton lost 40-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Carlyle (Carlyle, IL)
