The Meade Buffaloes basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Southwestern Heights Mustangs to 43 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buffaloes now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bucklin for a Southern Plains-Iroquois game on Friday, January 17. Meade will confront a Red Aces team coming off a 69-28 league loss to South Central (Coldwater, KS). The Red Aces record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Southwestern Heights falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Syracuse (Syracuse, KS) to confront the Bulldogs in a Hi-Plains game on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 6-2. Syracuse won 63-49 in their recent non-league game against Weskan (Weskan, KS)
