California High School Basketball - Cibola fells Imperial

February 2, 2022: Imperial, CA 92251

Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA), 69-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cibola upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Raiders host Kofa (Yuma, AZ) to play the Kings in a 6A Desert Southwest bout on Thursday, February 3. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Kofa won 57-37 in their recent league bout against San Luis (San Luis, AZ)

Next up, the Tigers play the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a Desert bout, on Thursday, February 3. Imperial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 69-49 non-league loss to Crawford (San Diego, CA).
