The Cunningham Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Dighton Hornets to 58 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebo for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 9. Cunningham will battle a Wolves team coming off a 45-38 non-league win over Axtell (Axtell, KS). The Wolves record now stands at 19-7.

The Hornets (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Axtell (Axtell, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Axtell was nudged by Lebo (Lebo, KS), 45-38, in a non-league contest.
