In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Grimsley Whirlies lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 win over the Southeast Guilford Falcons.

The Whirlies (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Carrboro nipped Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 9-6, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Falcons meet the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 27. Southeast Guilford will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.
