Texas High School Basketball - King sneaks past Centennial
November 29, 2024: Burleson, TX 76028 The King Panthers (Houston, TX) basketball edged the host Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX), 61-55 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kimball for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 30. King will play a Knights team coming off a 75-64 non-league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Brewer lost 60-47 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson (Dallas, TX)
