In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop Union Broncos football squad scored a close 32-29 victory over the Yerington Lions.

Next, the Broncos confront the Rim of the World Fighting Scots (Lake Arrowhead, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 13. Bishop Union will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

With the loss, Yerington drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV) to confront the Longhorns in a test on Friday, September 6. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 0-0.
