Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), witnessed Desert Mountain's softball squad tip McClintock by a count of 7-4.

The Wolves now sport a 24-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paradise Valley for a 5A Northeast Valley match on Tuesday, April 19. Desert Mountain will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, McClintock moves to 3-12 on the season. The Chargers travel to Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Monday, April 18. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 8-11. Carl Hayden Community lost 19-1 in their recent league match against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
