The Fillmore Central Panthers basketball team (Geneva, NE), was nudged 42-36 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Central City Bison (Central City, NE)

The Bison now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcadia/Loup City for a non-league battle on Friday, January 4. Central City will battle a Rebels team coming off a 62-59 league win over Wood River (Wood River, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 5-4.

The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Superior (Superior, NE). The Wildcats come into the C2 District 9 battle with a 1-7 record.
