California High School Basketball - Eagle Rock tops Jefferson
January 4, 2019: Los Angeles, CA 90041 Eagle Rock Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Jefferson Democrats (Los Angeles, CA), 60-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Eagle Rock upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilson (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Mules in a Northern bout on Wednesday, January 9. The Mules come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Wilson lost 58-47 in their recent non-league bout against Renaissance Academy (Altadena, CA)
Next up, the Democrats play the Locke Saints (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 5. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 76-48 non-league win over Animo South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA).
