Arizona High School Basketball - Fairfax crushes Metro Tech

Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 86-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairfax upgrades its record to 2-13 on the season. The Stampede travel to Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Falcons in a 5A Metro bout on Friday, January 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Carl Hayden Community lost 59-48 in their recent league bout against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Knights meet the Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Metro Tech will attempt to better on its 3-17 season record.
