The Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) basketball felled the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 73-60 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 20-4 record. In their last test, Hibriten thwarted Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 60-54, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 14-12 record.
