California High School Basketball - Valley Christian overwhelms Faith Christian
February 7, 2014: Roseville, CA 95678 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA) and the visiting Faith Christian Lions (Yuba City, CA), saw Valley Christian's basketball squad wallop Faith Christian by a count of 70-24.
With the victory, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA) to play the Capitals in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League challenge on Tuesday, February 11. The Capitals come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Sacramento Adventist won 46-29 in their recent league challenge against Buckingham Charter (Vacaville, CA)
Next up, the Lions play the Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers (Sacramento, CA) in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Faith Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 47-31 league loss to Wilton Christian (Wilton, CA).
