Indiana High School Basketball - Anderson nudges Muncie Central

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN) and the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), observed Anderson's basketball team edge Muncie Central by a score of 59-57.

The Indians (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Indianapolis Shortridge (Indianapolis, IN). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Indianapolis Shortridge was tipped by University (Carmel, IN), 56-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats encounter the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Muncie Central will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 42-36 non-league loss to Jay County (Portland, IN).
