Arizona High School Football - Saguaro knocked off by Liberty

Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 31-3 in a league test.

With the triumph, Liberty improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ) to confront the Firebirds in a 6A Northeast Valley game on Friday, October 27. The Firebirds come into the game with a record of 2-6. Chaparral lost 56-14 in their recent league game against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)

The Sabercats now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Salpointe Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, October 27. Saguaro will battle a Lancers team coming off a 35-26 league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 7-1.
