Arizona High School Basketball - Coolidge nudges Thatcher

In Tuesday's league outing, the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), by a margin of 57-53.

The Bears (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ). The Sabercats go into the 3A South Central outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, San Tan Foothills was tipped by Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ), 77-57, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Safford for a 3A South Central outing on Friday, February 19. Thatcher will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-53 league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
