Arizona High School Softball - Casteel bounces Desert Mountain

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) and the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Casteel's softball squad nip Desert Mountain by a count of 7-0.

The Colts now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8. Casteel will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Desert Mountain falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ) to face the Fighting Lobos in a non-league match on Friday, March 4. The Fighting Lobos enter the match with a record of 0-3. La Joya Community lost 15-12 in their recent non-league match against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ)
