The Leonia Lions basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Park Ridge Owls to 37 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland Regional for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Leonia will battle a Lancers team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 3-10.

The Owls (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record.
