The Salmon River Shamrocks basketball team (Fort Covington, NY), was nudged 45-38 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Potsdam Sandstoners (Potsdam, NY)

The Sandstoners now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a non-league battle on Friday, February 18. Potsdam will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 63-45 non-league win over Indian River (Philadelphia, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 11-2.
