In Friday's non-league game, the host Valley Christian Academy Lions baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Hillcrest Christian Saints.

The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Maricopa (Maricopa, CA). The Indians go into the Coast Valley game with a 0-0 record.
