Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Georgetown drops to Manchester Essex
May 10, 2019: Manchester, MA 01944 Manchester Essex Hornets (Manchester, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA), 11-1 in a league battle.
The Hornets now have a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord-Carlisle for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 11. Manchester Essex will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-3.
In their next game, the Royals clash with the Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA) in a Cape Ann battle, on Monday, May 13. Georgetown will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 11-8 league loss to Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA).
