December 15, 2018: Jonesboro, TX 76538 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jonesboro Eagles (Jonesboro, TX) and the visiting Community Christian Warriors (Mineral Wells, TX), saw Jonesboro's basketball squad hold off Community Christian by a count of 46-42.
With the victory, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Priddy (Priddy, TX) to play the Pirates in a 1A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Priddy won 81-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX)
Next up, the Warriors play the Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders (Azle, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 18. Community Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Fighting Crusaders come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 63-28 non-league loss to Christian Life Preparatory (Fort Worth, TX).
