Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) fans went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA), 70-43 in a league challenge.

The Musketeers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders come into the AAA Region 4 challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, West Laurens was routed by Cross Creek (Augusta, GA), 63-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Fightin' Irish battle the Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
