Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) and the host Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ), saw Benson's basketball squad wallop Sahuarita by a tally of 61-31.

With the victory, Benson improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ) to confront the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 8. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Patagonia won 37-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) in a 4A Gila challenge, on Monday, February 8. Sahuarita will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 36-33 league win over Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ).
