The Mt. Shasta Bears basketball squad (Mt. Shasta, CA), was outscored 55-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA)

With the victory, Anderson advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Cubs host Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA) to meet the Falcons in a Northern battle on Friday, January 17. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 3-13. Central Valley lost 55-19 in their recent league battle against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)

The Bears now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a Shasta Cascade battle on Tuesday, January 21. Mt. Shasta will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 47-35 league loss to Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 14-5.
