Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), 55-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Tolleson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wolverines travel to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 2-4. South Mountain won 71-29 in their recent non-league match against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ)

The Scorpions now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfax for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Desert Edge will face a Stampede squad coming off a 74-46 league loss to North (Phoenix, AZ). The Stampede record now stands at 2-6.
