The Mitchell Mountaineers tipped the visiting Ashe County Huskies basketball team by a final score of 41-40 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 6. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
