The Saguaro Sabercats routed the visiting Mesquite Wildcats softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Sabercats (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Skyhawks go into the non-league battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Deer Valley topped Cactus (Glendale, AZ), 11-5, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Arcadia for a 4A Desert Sky battle on Friday, April 14. Mesquite will meet a Titans squad coming off a 16-6 league win over St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 12-12.
