North Carolina High School Basketball - Olympic fells South Mecklenburg

December 18, 2018: Charlotte, NC 28210

Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 52-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Olympic upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Trojans host West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-2. West Charlotte lost 62-33 in their recent league bout against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC)

Next up, the Sabres clash with the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 4. South Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-8 non-league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC).
