The Dripping Springs Tigers edged the visiting Bowie Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Dripping Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 5-2 league win over Del Valle (Del Valle, TX).

The Bulldogs (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals enter the 6A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Westlake edged Austin (Austin, TX), 8-7, in a league challenge.
