In Friday's non-league match, the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) basketball team nudged the host Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY), by a final score of 62-59.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds meet the Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 3. East will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Camels enter the match with a 16-9 record after their 72-69 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, WY).
