Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Desert Edge upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, February 23. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Thunderbird lost 15-5 in their recent non-league test against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ)

With the defeat, Cactus falls to 1-1 on the season. The Cobras host Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ) to battle the Minotaur in a non-league test on Friday, February 23. The Minotaur come into the test with a record of 1-0. Odyssey Institute 7-7 in their recent non-league test against Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ)
