The Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Desert Oasis Diamondbacks to 53 in the Pioneers league triumph on Thursday.

The Pioneers now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Spring Valley for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Canyon Springs will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 83-55 league loss to Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Desert Oasis falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Diamondbacks travel to Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Roadrunners in a 4A Lake game on Monday, January 13.
