Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Otay Ranch upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to San Pasqual (Escondido, CA) to battle the Golden Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, April 2. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a record of 7-2.

The Trojans now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parker for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 27.
