In Friday's league outing, the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), by a count of 57-51.

The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the Eastern Connecticut - Large outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Woodstock Academy was tipped by Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT), 49-29, in a league outing.
