In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pike County Pirates football squad scored a close 9-3 victory over the Crisp County Cougars.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 16. Pike County will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 8-3 record after their 29-22 non-league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA).
