The Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 73-56 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Bowie notched a victory over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 55-45, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Leonardtown for a non-league test on Friday, December 13. McDonough will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 56-44 league win over Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
