South Dakota High School Basketball - Little Wound overwhelmed by Dakota Valley
February 11, 2017: North Sioux City, SD 57049 The Dakota Valley Panthers basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Little Wound Mustangs to 62 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux City West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Dakota Valley will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-8.
The Mustangs (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes come into the A Region 7 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Pine Ridge was routed by Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD), 66-55, in a non-league contest.
