In Friday's league match, the host Kouts Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 83-42 triumph over the LaCrosse Tigers.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks (Hammond, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 2. Kouts will attempt to move on its 23-2 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 1-15 record after their 74-35 non-league loss to Hebron (Hebron, IN).
