The Southwestern Heights Mustangs basketball squad (Kismet, KS), was outscored 69-49 in Friday's non-league battle with the host South Gray Rebels (Montezuma, KS)

With the victory, South Gray advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Rebels travel to Meade (Meade, KS) to meet the Buffaloes in a Southern Plains-Iroquois battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Buffaloes enter the battle with a record of 12-6. Meade lost 52-48 in their recent league battle against South Central (Coldwater, KS)

The Mustangs now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkhart for a Hi-Plains battle on Tuesday, February 18. Southwestern Heights will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-20 league loss to Lakin (Lakin, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-11.
