The Stone Cougars basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Broadneck Bruins to 65 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league contest on Friday, December 28. Stone will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-45 non-league win over North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.

The Bruins (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against North County (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights enter the Anne Arundel County contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, North County was nudged by Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
