The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies (Overland Park, KS) and the visiting Center Yellowjackets (Kansas City, MO), observed Blue Valley Northwest's basketball team knock off Center by a score of 59-47.

The Huskies (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO). The Hawklets come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the Paseo Academy of Performing Arts Pirates (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Center will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
