In Friday's league challenge, the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) baseball squad edged the host Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ), by a final score of 4-3.

With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Wolves host Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 18. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Sunrise Mountain won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ)

With the defeat, Horizon falls to 17-6 on the season.
