In Monday's non-league game, the host John Milledge Academy Trojans baseball team scored a close 7-2 victory over the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles.

The Trojans (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers enter the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Mount de Sales Academy was overwhelmed by First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles face the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes (Pembroke, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Vidalia Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record.
