September 5, 2023: Montezuma Creek, UT 84534 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ) and the host Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT), saw Red Mesa's volleyball squad nip Whitehorse by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Red Mesa upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Redskins travel to Williams (Williams, AZ) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
The Raiders now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Green River for a 1A Region 19 bout on Friday, September 8. Whitehorse will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pinnacle (Price, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
