Florida High School Basketball - St. Petersburg overwhelms Palm Harbor University
January 14, 2025: St. Petersburg, FL 33713 The St. Petersburg Green Devils basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Palm Harbor University Hurricanes to 43 in the Green Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Green Devils now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Pinellas Park for a 5A District 10 game on Wednesday, January 15. St. Petersburg will confront a Patriots team coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Palm Harbor University falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 8-9. Mitchell lost 63-58 in their recent non-league game against Calvary Christian (Clearwater, FL)
