The North Newton Spartans football team (Morocco, IN), was knocked off 36-27 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN)

The Bearcats (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Bombers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Rensselaer Central knocked off Bowman Academy (Gary, IN), 78-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 4-5 record.
