The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Selma Saints (Selma, AL) and the host Marion Rams (Marion, AL), observed Selma's basketball team knock off Marion by a score of 49-33.

The Saints (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jemison (Jemison, AL). The Panthers come into the 5A Area 5 challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, Jemison was knocked off by Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), 80-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Ellwood Christian Eagles (Selma, AL) in a 1A Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Marion will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Linden (Linden, AL).
