In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Shrewsbury Colonials lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Westfield Bombers.

The Colonials now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John's for a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. Shrewsbury will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-0.

In their next game, the Bombers face the Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) in a Valley Wheel test, on Monday, April 22. Westfield will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 17-1 league win over Northampton (Northampton, MA).
