North Carolina High School Basketball - New Hope Christian Academy crushes Mountain Mission
December 20, 2014: Thomasville, NC 27360 New Hope Christian Academy Phoenix (Thomasville, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA), 77-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Hope Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Phoenix travel to New Garden Friends (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, January 2. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-5. New Garden Friends won 62-41 in their recent non-league bout against Abington Friends (Jenkintown, PA)
Next up, the Challengers clash with the Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 26. Mountain Mission will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 77-69 league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC).
